Ron played his entire professional career with diabetes and later became a strong voice and advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He will be missed.

Following in the footsteps of Arizona’s SB 1070, Tennessee is now considering a bill targeting Illegal immigrants. The bill will criminalize illegal immigrants and give local authorities the ability to detail any person suspected of being in the country unlawfully. Of Tennessee’s over six million residents, approximately four percent (4%) are considered to be foreign-born.
